Y2B – Greasbrough

As part of our anti-bullying activities this week, we have been reading a book called ‘The Name Jar’ by Yangsook Choi. We had some fantastic ideas for questions, but the one we voted for was:

‘Why didn’t she say her name in the class?’

Some of our responses were:

She thought that they would say her name wrong again. (George)in.

I disagree, i think it was because she thought they would pick on her again. (Selina)

I disagree because I think the bullying would have stopped if she had told the teacher. (Sophie)

What are your thoughts?
